Abstract:

Aiming at the requirements for the array of transmitting and receiving antennas and high isolation requirements in the continuous wave interferometer system, a series-fed microstrip antenna array that works in the X-band is designed, and it is arranged into a transceiver antenna array with one transmitter and five receivers. Based on the principle of the interferometer, the combination of long and short baselines takes into account a wide range of direction finding without ambiguity and high precision angle measurement. At the same time, by methods including optimizing the antenna layout, blocking, and laying wave-absorbing materials, the transceiver isolation degree is increased from 52 dB to 79 dB. The proposed high-isolation transceiver antenna array has good application prospects in continuous wave interferometer systems, and the improved isolation method adopted has a certain generalization in optimizing the isolation of transceiver antennas.

Key words: high isolation, continuous wave system, interferometer, microstrip antenna
