Abstract:
The mass property identification for a spacecraft is studied based on the gyros. Firstly, the mathematical models of the spacecraft and the measurement equations of the gyros are formulated based on the theory of physics. Secondly, the identification strategy is described by the analysis of the configuration. Thirdly, the singular value decomposition and condition number of the measure matrix are used to analyze the identifiability and identifiability degree (ID) of the mutation parameters. Finally, taking a spacecraft as an example the identifiability and ID are studied, and the least square method is proposed to identify the mass property. Simulation results show that the abrupt mass property of the spacecraft can be identified by the proposed strategy and the ID of the position is higher than mass.
