Abstract:

Against the interceptor's miss distance variation caused by relative state measurement error during midcourse-terminal handover process, the relative equations are conducted and analyzed in rotation coordinate of line of sight (LOS). The analytic solution of relative state measure error propagation in the terminal phase is obtained based on covariance analysis describing function technique (CADET) and covariance transform method. Then the mean and covariance of miss distance can be calculated. A contrast simulation by analytic solution and Monte Carlo algorithm is conducted and then correctness and efficiency is verified. The quantitative relationship between relative state measurement error and miss distance and the permissible error reachable set are obtained. The research results are significant in interceptor's measurement accuracy and acceleration capacity design.

Key words: interceptor, relative state measurement error, interception efficiency, miss distance
