Multi-parameters blind estimation of AltBOC signal

Abstract:

Aiming at the difficulty of blind estimation of signal parameters caused by the complex modulation mode of alternate binary offset carrier (AltBOC) signal with constant envelope, a blind estimation algorithm of cyclic spectrum based on frequency domain accumulation is proposed. Firstly, according to the signal model, the cyclic autocorrelation function of AltBOC signal can be obtained, which can be equivalent to the sum of the cyclic autocorrelation functions of 16 sub-signals. Secondly, the cycle spectrum represened by using the Fourier transform, and then it is accumulated in the frequency domain. Finally, the pseudo-code rate, subcarrier rate and carrier frequency of AltBOC signal are estimated by using the sharp pulse interval law of the signal on the cycle frequency section. Simulation results and theoretical analyses show that the mult-parameters estimation of AltBOC signal can achieve more accurately.
