Abstract:

Compared with the traditional differential chaos shift keying (DCSK) system, the transmission rate and energy utilization rate is improved by the short reference DCSK (SR-DCSK) system to a certain extent, but which reduces its security performance. To solve this problem, the short reference M-ary security (SRMS-DCSK) system is proposed. In this scheme, a scrambling matrix group is constructed by the scrambling matrix and the shift matrix, so that the scrambling matrix can not only improve the security of the chaotic signals, but also carry the multi-level bit information, which can not only improve the security of the system, but also further improve the energy utilization. The performance improvement of the SRMS-DCSK is verified by comparing with the same type of system. The analytic expressions of bit error rate (BER) in different channels are derived by using the Gaussian approximation method, and which is verified by simulation.
