Abstract:

Airplane missile bistatic forward looking synthetic aperture radar (AMBFL-SAR) provides a solution for the precise guidance during the whole terminal diving period of the missile in collaborative operations. It can perform twodimensional (2D) high resolution imaging and target positioning. The traditional single platform approximation planning method is no longer applicable because of the dynamic characteristics of the missile airborne platform. Aiming at this problem, the resolution property of the special configuration in the diving period is analyzed firstly. And the main contradiction in different range distances is obtained. Then under the constraint of 2D resolution and resolution cell area, the trajectory design method is proposed based on the influence rule of transmitter parameters on the system resolution. The method can effectively satisfy the imaging quality, and the trajectory is conducive to the guidance and control of each platform. Finally, the simulation results verify the validity of the proposed algorithm.
