Short reference multifold rate differential chaos shift keying

Abstract:

To overcome the drawback of the differential chaos shift keying (DCSK) system, consume the same transmit power while do not transfer data, a short reference multifold rate differential chaos shift keying system is proposed. The system shortens the length of the reference time slot, and multibit data can be carried in the data time slot. This system reduces the transmitting power and improves the data transfer rate. The bit error rate performance over additive white Gaussian noise channel and Rayleigh channel using the Gaussian approximation method is derived and numerous simulation experiments are carried out. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that simulations in both environments show a perfect match with the analytical expressions. It is proved that the system has good performance and practical reference value, and provides certain application prospect in the chaotic communication field.
