Abstract:

Mission successfulness means the capacity for material systems fulfilling given missions provided by maintenance support schemes. Its measurement is the mission success probability which is the important index of supportability assessment. The multi-mission success probability of repairable systems is not only dependent on its operational reliability and inherent capacity, but also the span of every sub-mission cycle and intermission, success requirements, quantity and a capacity of maintenance support resources and so on. Based on analyzing the characteristics of the multi-mission process and all the above effect factors, a model is studied on how to evaluate the mixed multi-mission success probability of repairable systems under a given maintenance support scheme. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the validity and application of this model.
