Abstract:

The problem of resource allocation is central to the multifunction airborne phased array radar with a single beam. To solve it, an adaptive scheduling algorithm of track and search (TAS) mode is proposed. Taking the schedule interval as a cycle, the proposed algorithm generates the current task request set based on the processing results of the previous scheduled tasks. Then using the principle that tracking requests compete for the time resources while search tasks wait for idle time slices all the time, a coordination scheduling for search and tracking is implemented. Furthermore, the information of beam positions, task types and predicted velocities are used to allocate the waveforms of executed tasks in real time. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can reasonably schedule all kinds of tracking requests and search events, and also has the -ability-to adaptively adjust the tracking time interval and the detection waveform.
