Abstract:

A method combining distance and direction measurement which could realize relative location between moving space platforms is proposed. With the characteristic of wide-band chirp up and chirp down linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals, the distance is measured using the microwave two-way technology, the phase ambiguity while direction finding is solved through frequency measurement, and solved the ambiguity resolution probabilistic of the traditional multi-baseline interferometer angle measurement model, the Doppler Effect caused by relative movement is efficiently depressed also. The positioning accuracy is validated with the evaluation system.
