Abstract:

In view of problems existing in the collaborative spectrum sensing strategy of cognitive radio networks, for example, too much energy consumption and lack of considerations about malicious users and interrupted communication link, a new collaborative spectrum sensing strategy is proposed based on the energyefficient method and trust management system. Firstly, the expressions of the trust values and the total amount of spectrum sensing reports are derived and analyzed. And the sensing model is set up to suppress effectively behaviors of malicious users. Secondly, the estimation method and the closed expression of the false alarm and missed detection probability are proposed corresponding to the proposed strategy, and the impact of the communication link interruption is analyzed further. Finally, the simulation results show that the required reports of the proposed energy-efficient strategy are fewer than those of the traditional strategy, which means that energy consumption is effectively reduced. The effect of interrupted communication link on sensing performance is smaller with the help of the proposed strategy.
