Abstract:

A novel fairtime division multiple access (F-TDMA) protocol is proposed to support the quality of service (QoS) of realtime applications in moible ad hoc networks. F-TDMA takes the specific timeslot allocation not only to insure the QoS of realtime applications, but also to improve the access performance of ordinary data. Simulation results show that the F-TDMA network has low access delay and high throughput. Expecially for the specific applications, F-TDMA can perform well in the access performance of realtime, and will not make the data useless which is caused by the high access delay.
