Abstract:

For the problem of a fighter evasive maneuver of air-to-air missiles, a two-dimensional pursuit-evasion- model of the fighter against air-to-air missiles is built on missile time constant. The effectiveness of the fighter maneuver time and mode on the miss distance and overload requirement of air-to-air missiles is studied. And the evasive probability caused by miss distance, which is produced through fighter maneuver, is calculated. The conclusions that maneuver can increase evasive probability, on-off maneuver is superior to circle maneuver and a shorter maneuver period is better are gotten, which solve the problem of lack a quantity method to evaluate a fighter evasive maneuver air-to-air missiles.
