Abstract:

A blind adaptive algorithm of multiple beamformers for the moving interference suppression in global position system (GPS) receiver is presented, which relies on the unique structure of the C/A code of the GPS. Firstly, the moving interference is suppressed by projecting the received data on the noise subspace with the nulls widening technique. Then, the obtained data matrix which only contains contributions from the GPS components and noise is processed by multiple beamformers, whose weight vectors are determined by the eigenvalue decomposition of the correlation matrix of the received data between its delayed version. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively eliminate moving interference and enhance the GPS signals at the array output.
