Abstract:

An interference locating algorithm based on scattered plane signals is proposed to quickly and accurately locate the radio interference which is the main threat to civil aviation communication. Firstly, several reference points are chosen utilizing maximum correlation coefficients of Doppler frequency shift curvesSecondly, interference locations are estimated using weighted centroid with the reference points. Discussions are made on the relationship between the locating accuracy and the number of points chosen,as well as the relationship between the locating accuracy and the sensitivity β. Further comparison between the proposed algorithm and the former ones is also made. It is proved through simulations and experiments that the proposed algorithm leads to better accuracy with less computation.
