Abstract:
In order to ensure the safety of intelligence in important places, a novel synthetic aperture radar (SAR) jamming technology based on the 2-D intermittent sampling delay repeater is brought forward. This technique uses the intra-pulse coherent characteristic of SAR directly, so it can produce multiple false targets in both the range and the azimuth directions of the jammer nearby. The jamming effect is determined by the sampling period and the duty cycle in the range and the azimuth directions. Due to combination with the time delay repeating technique, the main false targets produced in the range and the azimuth directions will not overlap each other, and will deviate from the position of the jammer. So the jamming effect will not only be vivid, but also protect the jammer. In allusion to the phenomena of focus on the jamming technique but application, the application model of this technique brought forward in this paper is established, which is followed by the modulation factors in energy compensation of high order false targets. The availability and advantage of this method are proved in the simulation experiments.
