Abstract:

The long-period spread spectrum satellite signal is characterized by long cycle, low signal-to-noise ratio and considerable Doppler frequencies, aiming at which, a new frequency detection and power estimation method is proposed. The Doppler frequency linear approximation effects are analyzed and verified by simulations. Then, the capability of the proposed method is tested by using Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite parameters, and the impacts of the integration time length on the local frequency search step are analyzed. Simulations indicate the proposed method can well counteract Doppler frequency effects, and its capability reaches -12dB.
