Abstract:
The chief aim of the present work is to investigate the impact of gentle swaying disturbance on analytic coarse alignment of strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS).The quantitative relationship between the platform misalignment angles and swaying disturbance angles is described, then the applicable conditions of analytic coarse alignment on swaying disturbance base are discussed. The studies we have performed showed that platform horizontal misalignment error angles are associated with corresponding average amplitude of disturbance angles and the azimuth error mainly depends on east average disturbance angular velocity. In other words, azimuth error is related with signal noise rate (SNR) of north earth’s angular velocity. Turntable gentle swaying experiment verifies that the above conclusion is reasonable.
