Abstract:

Factors affecting link stability are analyzed and divided into three types of task management, topology management and channel quality. On this basis, a multi-scale stable link model is proposed, in which the three types of factors are imported to a middle module to conduct weight distribution and weighted average and ultimately form a composite indicator to indicate link stability. Meanwhile a Kalman filter is used to analyze and predict the detection value, so as to improve the stability and reliability of the model. Finally, the model is applied to the optimal design of routing strategy in optimized link state routing protocol and some simulation on modified protocol is completed in QualNet. Simulation results show that the modified protocol has an effective performance improvement in the packet reception rate, throughput, end-to-end delay, etc. which evidently improves the capability to guarantee multimedia services’ quality of service.
