Abstract:
Tracking maneuvering target in clutter is considered. The determination of gate center and gate region has the decisive influence on the tracking performance in clutter. Based on separate estimation of time variant bias (SBE) and probabilistic data association (PDA) algorithm, a new method for tracking maneuvering target in clutter, separate bias estimation probabilistic data association (SBE_PDA), is presented. The bias estimation and state estimation covariance are used to confirm gate center and gate region. The simulations show that, for tracking maneuvering target in clutter, SBE_PDA is superior to strong tracking filter probabilistic data association (STF_PDA) by criterion of track lost ratio.
