Abstract:
The finitetime guaranteed cost control problem for a class of continuoustime uncertain nonlinear systems with norm bounded exogenous disturbance is discussed. Firstly, the nonlinear systems are described by a set of TakagiSugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. Then, a sufficient condition of finitetime boundedness for the closedloop fuzzy systems is given by finding an appropriate Lyapunov function. And the design approach for the solutions of the finitetime guaranteed cost controller is transformed into a feasibility problem in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). It is shown that the designed controller not only makes the closedloop uncertain fuzzy systems finite time bounded for all admissible exogenous disturbances, but also provides an optimized guaranteed cost upper bound. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the design procedure is effective.
