Abstract:

According to the approximately statistical independence between the frequency hopping (FH) signal and the partialband noise jamming (PBNJ) signal, a blind source separation (BSS) based anti-jamming method for FH communication against PBNJ is proposed. The object function is constructed with the second order statistics or the higher order statistics of the separated signals. The unmixing matrix is calculated through the iterations which are induced by the object function. Then, the separation between the FH signal and the PBNJ signal is achieved, and the anti-jamming ability of FH communication is enhanced. Simulation results indicate the proposed method can improve the bit error rate of FH communication greatly when the PBNJ signal exists. The processing delays of the separation algorithm are very small. And the proposed method can satisfy the practical demand of FH communication well.
