Abstract:

The cross-polarizations and the polarization port isolation performance of conventional dual-polarization waveguide slotted array antennas are poor, especially difficult to realize co-aperture dual-circularly-polarization radiation. A novel dual-circularly-polarization waveguide array antenna at K-band is studied. The high-efficiency dual-polarized co-aperture radiation element, wide-band polarizer, low loss feed network are discussed, simulated and optimized by software. A prototype has been made and tested. The measured results show that waveguide array antennas proposed have the characteristics of highefficiency, wide-band of axial ratio, and highisolation.
