Abstract:
For the elementary focused UWB SAR image, the phase error compensation based on image domain will further improve its quality. According to the UWB SAR motion error model, a residual phase error compensation method for UWB SAR image based on strip phase gradient autofocus (SPGA) algorithm is proposed. And this method can effectively correct the space variant phase error in low frequency UWB SAR image, which is induced by the long synthetic aperture and large swath. The feasibility of the new method is verified by the simulation and real UWB SAR data.
