Abstract:
The measurement model is first set for the 3-D cylindrical array with multi-vector-hydrophones, which is located on or near a reflecting boundary. A new coherent signals preprocessing algorithm is proposed based on the “vector-spatial” field of the array. And the performance of the proposed algorithm is examined. In case of different array’s parameters, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is tested via the simulations. The advantages of the proposed algorithm include reducing losses in the overall array’s spatial aperture and increasing the maximum number of smoothed coherent sources.
