Abstract:

Based on the analysis of operation planning for tracking and data relay satellites (TDRS), a new approach to modeling of operation planning based on state and action models is proposed, which has powerful representation capabilities compared with the traditional planning approach. The domain knowledge of TDRS is represented by using planning domain definition language (PDDL),which can represent duration constraints, resource constraints and one particular exogenous events constraint. The domain model of operation planning for TDRS is constructed. By analyzing the working mode of  TDRS, useful domain knowledge is obtained and introduced to carry out decomposition of the operation plan into smaller sub-plans, and the corresponding selectable action set of each sub-plan is given, which reduces the search space and improves the solving efficiency of the operation planning problem.
