Frequency-hopping sequence pair correlation function and its theoretical bound

  • Online:2015-01-28 Published:2010-01-03

Abstract:

When two different frequency-hopping sequences are employed by the transmitting and receiving ends respectively in communication systems, the users’ address codes are the sequence pairs composed by these two sequences. In frequency-hopping communication systems which use frequency-hopping sequence pairs as address codes, the theory bound satisfied by autocorrelation function and cross-correlation function of frequency-hopping sequences is the criteria for judging good or bad frequency-hopping sequence pairs and frequency-hopping sequence pair sets. The frequency-hopping sequence pair and its Hamming correlation function are presented and the theory bound formed by frequency hopping sequence pairs, Hamming correlation values, frequency gap numbers, and sequence length are also provided.
