Abstract:
For safety authorization to proper amount of resources in aircraft equipment support systems and flexibly changing of authorization according to operation history, trust and forecast based access control (TFAC) is proposed, which extends role based access control (RBAC) with the notion of trust and forecast. Roles do not be activated until the trust values of users meet the requirements. Amounts do not be assigned to permissions until amounts are in forecast intervals. Then, the trust and forecast mechanism is designed. The usage of TFAC is illustrated through a typical example. Result shows that TFAC can provide flexible and efficient access control in equipment support systems.
