Abstract:

The problem about the thin strip feed model is solved successfully by introducing the half Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) function and boundary charge. The impedance matrix Z and matrix V in the current source model and voltage source model are analyzed in detail based on the method of moments, and the line integral singularity problem in calculating self impedance elements at the boundary is settled skillfully. The two feed models are used to analyze the characters, such as input impedance and far field of spherical microstrip antennas, and calculated results agree with those from literature [13], which shows the validity and effectiveness of the two feed models.
