Abstract:

In order to improve the precision and the speed of single-satellite passive localization, as well as meet the miniaturization and low-power requirements, a passive localization algorithm based on the posterior probability maximization principle and the rotating long baseline interferometer is proposed. The main idea is to use the posterior probability maximization principle to avoid multi-emitter signals separation problems; and utilize the instantaneous change in direction between the rotating interferometer antenna baselines and emitter source waves to decrease direction-finding and localization ambiguity, thus achieving fast and highprecision localization by just using a single rotating long baseline interferometer system. Simulation results show that the algorithm has good feasibility, high precision, high speed and high applicable values.
