Abstract:

With the secondorder sliding mode control theory, a sliding mode attitude tracking maneuver control method is presented for a rigid spacecraft in presence of parameter variations and external disturbances. First the basic idea of the higherorder sliding mode control is introduced, then the spacecraft mathematical model is described by the modified Rodrigues parameter (MRP) and the secondorder sliding mode attitude control law is derived based on Lyapunov second method. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the method effectively eliminate system chattering and achieve spacecraft attitude tracking maneuver precision positioning and get global stability and robustness at the same time.
