Abstract:

In cooperative communication, an efficient method of building green networks is to reduce transmission power. Focus on the problem of saving energy in future mobile communication, a power allocation strategy for hybrid-decode-amplify-forward (HDAF) protocol in cooperative networks is presented. The strategy takes the outage probability of direct link as the constraint and minimizes total power as the goal, and source node and relay node power is respectively obtained by extreme value in the quasistatic Rayleigh flat fading channel. Numerical results show that the total power of the proposed strategy will reduce about 5 dBm~17 dBm in the same outage probability of adopting amplify-forward (AF) and decode-forward (DF) strategy, and minimize the energy consumption.
