Abstract:

The problems that dual computer hot-standby system based on independent fault detection unit exists are analyzed, and to solve the problems, a dual computer hotstandby system based on dual computer joint fault detection is proposed, which uses its master unit and spare unit to realize fault detection. By establishing Markov models and simulation respectively, the reliability and security of the two schemes are analyzed. Comparisons on reliability, security and economy between the two schemes are drawn, and the results of comparisons show that the dual computer hotstandby system based on dual computer joint fault detection has higher reliability and security, and holds simpler structure and lower cost when the system has more idle resources and β is greater than 0.8.
