Abstract:

The existing of non-matching grids on adjacent domain interface is permitted in non-conforming domain decomposition method (NC-DDM). The solution about this method is like Jacobi iteration. The convergence can be accelerated by modifying the mixed boundary condition on the interface and using modified Galerkin testing functions. The anisotropic perfectly matched layer (PML) is used in NC-DDM, so that the unknown quantity can be reduced largely. Several methods about accelerating convergence are studied and the method about exchanging data on non-conforming interface is also explained in detail. The numerical results demonstrate that this method is accurate and has high efficiency.
