Abstract:

When realizing quadrature detection based on real signal processing, mismatches between channels will surely produce image interference. A new method for design of quadrature detection based on complex analytic signal processing is presented, which eliminates the image interference caused by mismatches between channels in theory. Hilbert transform is needed in complex analytic signal processing. The effect from a rough Hilbert transform to the system is analyzed. Then the digital realizing project of second-order sampling is given. Compared with the one-order sampling digital quadrature detector, the second-order sampling project is advantageous to be realized in real time.
