Abstract:

In space launch mission, it is difficult to measure a high-precision continuous and stable track due to the problems such as incomplete measurement viewing angle and partial track jitter of single radar. Multi-radar and multi-target track processing with distributed multi-station viewing angle become an urgent task for space launch sites. To solve this problem, a distributed multi-station real-time track processing method for space launch mission is proposed. Firstly, the measurement track pre-processing is completed for multiple radars with different spatial positions and data rates to solve the problem of spatio-temporal disunity of cooperative detection by different platforms. Then, a multi-scale track association algorithm is proposed for the dense interlacing track of multiple radars. The rough clustering of ballistic drop points and weighted distance fine clustering are used to reduce the computation and improve the correlation stability. Finally, convex combination fusion algorithm is used to realize the effective fusion of multi-radar and multi-target track. The practical application results show that the proposed method can give full play to the advantages of multi-radar detection system, and effectively solve the problem of multi-radar and multi-target track association and fusion in the distributed multi-station space launch mission.

Key words: distributed multi-station, multi-target data processing, track correlation, track fusion
