Abstract:

Focused on the range/time-angle-dependent signal transceiver and processing issue with the coherent frequency diverse array (FDA) radar, an FDA radar transceiver joint multi-beam design method based on angle-dependent matched filter (ADMF) is proposed. This method can realize equivalent transmit digital beamforming and signal pulse compression matching processing at the same time. Echo signals from different spatial angles can be processed in parallels. Combining with the joint receiving digital beamforming technology, it is possible to implement joint transceiver beamforming simultaneously to realize the simultaneous wide-field wide-angle coverage of multi-beam, and meet the requirement of radar wide-field search task. Simulation examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
