Abstract:

The interference cancellation (IC) technique is brought into the single carrier (SC) transmission systems in Rician fading channels, and an effective equalizer is constituted. The initial estimation of the transmitted data is made by match filter (MF) or common singlecarrier equalizers, and then every multipath signal is constructed by this initial solution using channel state information. Then final demodulation result is obtained by the line of sight component in the received signal which can be acquired by cancelling the sum of all the other multipath signals from the received signal. The final solution can also be used to construct multipath components, so that the performance is improved further. It is shown by Monte Carlo simulation that the performance of initial detector is improved evidently, and the performance is better with equalizer than MF as the initial detector in the SUI5 wireless communication link.
